Managed website plans

Fixed commissions by plan

Managed plan commissions are paid once per approved new customer referral. Monthly plan payments do not generate recurring or lifetime commissions.

Launch Plan

$100 CAD

One-time commission for each eligible new customer who purchases the Launch Plan.

Pro Plan

$250 CAD

One-time commission for each eligible new customer who purchases the Pro Plan.

One-time and custom projects

Earn 10% of eligible project revenue collected.

If a referred customer chooses a one-time website project instead of a monthly managed plan, the referral is treated as a project commission and pays 10% of eligible project revenue actually collected by Site Harbour.

If the eligible project amount is paid in full upfront, the full applicable commission becomes pending once the payment clears. After the 30-day review period, it becomes eligible for the next monthly payout.

If the project is paid in instalments, the commission is earned proportionally as each eligible payment is collected and completes the 30-day review period.

Example: $5,000 one-time website

  • If the customer pays $5,000 upfront, the full eligible commission is $500.
  • If the customer pays $2,500 upfront and $2,500 on completion, $250 of commission is tied to each collected payment.
  • Total eligible project revenue: $5,000.
  • Total partner commission: $500.
  • Each collected amount is subject to the 30-day review period before payout eligibility.

Important details

Common commission questions

Do partners earn recurring monthly commissions?

No. Launch, Grow, and Pro plan referrals pay one fixed commission. Ongoing managed-plan payments do not generate recurring or lifetime commissions.

Is the managed-plan deposit commissioned separately?

No. The deposit on a Launch, Grow, or Pro managed plan is part of the managed website arrangement. The fixed plan commission covers the entire managed website referral.

What if the customer pays upfront for a one-time website instead of choosing a monthly plan?

The referral is treated as a one-time project and pays 10% of eligible project revenue actually collected by Site Harbour. If the eligible amount is paid in full upfront, the full applicable commission becomes pending after the payment clears. If the project is paid in instalments, commission is earned proportionally as each eligible payment is collected. Each amount remains subject to the 30-day review period before payout eligibility.

What happens if a customer changes plans?

If the change happens before approval, the commission may be adjusted to the final active plan. Later upgrades do not automatically create another commission, and later downgrades normally do not reduce a commission already earned unless tied to a refund, dispute, or abuse.

What happens after a refund or chargeback?

Before payout, the commission may be cancelled or reduced. If it was already paid, the related amount may be deducted from future commissions. Immediate repayment is normally reserved for fraud, manipulation, or intentional abuse.

Can I earn from existing customers or my own business?

No. Existing customers, active leads, duplicate referrals, self-referrals, and businesses you own or control do not qualify.

Do future projects from the same customer qualify?

Not automatically. Future work is commissionable only when Site Harbour approves it in advance, marks it as commissionable, or a separate campaign or agreement applies.
