Referrals and tracking

How do I refer someone?

You may share your unique partner link, provide your partner code, or directly introduce the business to Site Harbour.

How long does referral tracking last?

The standard tracking period is 90 days unless the program administrator selects a different available period.

Can a customer enter my code manually?

Yes. A valid manually entered partner code can override an existing referral cookie and the conflict is recorded.

Can I see what happens after the referral?

Yes. Your Partner Portal provides summarized referral, lead, sale, commission, and payout status information.

Commissions and payments

How much can I earn?

Managed website referrals pay fixed one-time commissions of $100 CAD for Launch, $175 CAD for Grow, and $250 CAD for Pro. Approved one-time and custom projects pay 10% of eligible project revenue actually collected by Site Harbour.

What if the customer pays upfront instead of choosing a monthly managed plan?

A one-time website project pays 10% of eligible project revenue actually collected by Site Harbour. If the eligible project amount is paid in full upfront, the full applicable commission becomes pending after the payment clears. If the customer pays in instalments, the commission is earned proportionally as each eligible payment is collected. Each amount must complete the 30-day review period before payout eligibility.

When is a commission approved?

Commissions are normally held for 30 days and reviewed before approval. For one-time projects, the review period applies to each eligible customer payment after it clears.

What is the minimum payout?

The standard minimum payout is $50 unless an exception is approved.

What happens after a refund?

A related commission may be reduced, reversed, or recovered depending on the refund amount and payout status.

Do I need to answer technical questions?

No. Site Harbour handles consultations, recommendations, quotes, technical questions, project delivery, and ongoing support.

Approved partners may receive access to logos, graphics, referral guides, social content, email templates, and other approved resources.
